Already, Lizzie has made God known to countless people here at Biola. She is the Senator of the Bluff but, more than that, she is a friend, a prayer warrior, and an advocate. Her involvement in intramural sports, SAY Yes ministry, and Associated Students has given Lizzie the chance to enjoy a wide range of Biola students and has fostered in her a love for our student body. When Lizzie makes rounds in the Bluff, she is interested in more than AS proposals. She is excited about getting to know each student—their gifts, their struggles, and their desires. God’s love is made known in the way that Lizzie values each student.
As Service Committee head, Lizzie is also making a difference in our own back yard. She not only helped to envision a large-scale Serve Day that would be available to all Biola students, but she has made it a reality. Lizzie believes that Biola students have the kind of love that it takes to be a light in our neighborhood, and she is dedicated to providing avenues for us to do just that. Lizzie recognizes that our opportunity to impact the world can start just five feet outside of our campus and she is constantly strategizing about how Biola can come together to make God known to the surrounding community.
Lizzie is committed to the global perspective. She is an International Business major with a compassion for the lost in China. She is preparing to be a light internationally after graduation, but refuses to wait until then. Her commitment to partnering with Coalition for Social Action (CSA) will be fuelled by her compassion for the lost and oppressed and her zeal for making God known to all nations.
Sincerity. Commitment. Passion. Lizzie has a big vision and I am confident that God has given her what it takes to lead Biola in making Him known together.
